Michael first day and Concert

But he is Michael and I expect the bumps, cuts and bruises from him.

He loved school and had another great day today.
Me and my friend, Cari. She took me to the Creed concert last night at
Blossom. We had a lot of fun but I realized I'm getting WAY too old to be out
late on a "school night". I am draaaagin' today that's for sure!

Michael's First Day of Kindergarten

Michael woke up ready to go to school this morning. He had me spike his hair up in the front and he wore his cool new Tony Hawk t-shirt with the jean shorts his Aunt Beeta gave him last year(they finally fit!).

Today was Taylor's first day of school. Michael had to go today to meet his Kindergarten teacher. His first real day of school is Wednesday. Taylor was very excited to go to 4th grade. She reminded Michael this morning that she is at the top of the school and he is at the bottom. Can you feel the love? Siblings! They're great!

Taylor turned 10 years old yesterday. She had swimming clinics in the morning and then we went to build-a-bear and out for lunch. This is a picture of her and Molly, the owl. The owl's head turns all the way around. She had a very good day yesterday.

I'm glad the kids' birthdays are during the summer! It's nice that they get to celebrate with the weather being nice. Now we are all done with birthdays until next year!

The kids all had a blast! They especially liked when I boogied down with them. I got lots of laughs! I told them believe it or not I used to be cool. Again, more laughs!

Today we celebrated Taylor's 10th birthday. Her actual birthday is tomorrow but I had all the babysitting kids so we had the bash today. I will have a couple more pictures up here in a little while. They all have had such a good time. We are in the middle of a dance party, complete with the disco ball spinning, as we speak. It is VERY loud in here!

Sleepover

My friend, who happens to be Michael's girlfriend's mom, had surgery on Wednesday. So I agreed to watch her four children for her. The two oldest came and spent the night and the 1 year and the 3 WEEK old came at 5:00am the next morning. I told Michael that this would be the first and LAST time I called and asked if his girlfriend could stay the night. :o) He of course was oblivious to the "real" meaning and just said, (with eye roll) "OK Mom." Grace, Michael's lady, was given the same speech at home from her Mom that I gave Michael....you stay on your bed and he stays in his bed. I put a movie in for the kids and Grace said, "Mrs. Jira I can't see the movie but I can't get in Michael's bed. Can you move the tv for me a little?" I of course let her sit in Michael's bed and told her it was ok. :o) To make a long story short, they both ended up in bed with me.

This is Taylor at Penn State in front of a Joe Paterno statue. Tay and Mike went to Pennsylvania on the 4th. They watched fireworks with Timmy and Jennelle.

Well, Michael has requested that I put a picture of him and his new bike that Papa and

Nana got him on this web page. So here he is. They got him the bike for his birthday. He loves to ride it. Taylor also got a bike from my parents for her birthday. Her's is a 10 speed and is the exact same bike that my Mom has. They both think they are pretty awesome on their new wheels! Spoiled is much more like it. Hope everyone has a good one!

Blueberries

The kids and I went to pick blueberries on Monday. Then we came home and froze them. They had fun picking them but got very tired!
